Poll types
To be able to poll various topics, Konzertmeister offers the following poll types, which differ by the type of answer option:

Numeric (number)
Here you can answer with a number (integers and decimals).
Example: Number of bus seats, ticket orders, or required quantity for CDs, etc.

Yes / No
Here you can answer with Yes or No.
Example: Do you need a new traditional costume hat?

Free text
Here you can write any text as an answer.
Example: What piece ideas do you have for the next concert?

Single choice
Here you can select exactly one answer from multiple answer options.
Example: Please choose your T-shirt size (Options: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)

Multiple choice
Here you can select one or more answers from multiple answer options.
Example: Which equipment needs to be renewed for you (Options: Hat, Pants, Shirt, Marching fork)
Poll deadlines
To ensure that the poll can only be answered until a certain point in time, a response deadline must be specified for each poll, until which the poll is open.
Anonymous polls
Polls can be anonymous or non-anonymous.
For anonymous polls, Konzertmeister ensures that the answers cannot be traced back to you or other members. This can be especially useful for sensitive polls to give members more security.
For non-anonymous polls, the leaders of the poll can see which member submitted which answer.
By default, polls are non-anonymous. This means the leaders of the poll can see which member submitted which answer.
Konzertmeister always indicates whether a poll is anonymous or not.
Create poll
In the Android app and in the web app, you can find your polls in the menu item My polls.
In the iOS app, the polls can be found as a separate item in the lower main menu item Messages.
In the overview, the polls are listed chronologically. Members with a leader role can create polls for their association / section / group as follows:

Android
In the My polls view, select the Create button (right arrow icon) at the bottom right.

iOS
In the Polls view, select the + button at the top right.
The Create poll view opens.
Here you can enter the following data:

Subject (optional)
Here you can enter a subject for the poll.

Poll text
Enter the question here that members should answer.

Association / Section / Group
Select the organizational unit(s) that should receive the poll.

Members
Select the members who should receive the poll. By default, all members of the selected organizational unit(s) are selected.

Poll deadline
Enter the deadline until when the poll can be answered.

Poll type
Enter the poll type here (see Poll types)

Answer options
Enter the available answer options here. Answer options are only available for the poll types single choice and multiple choice.

Anonymous poll
Specify whether the poll should be anonymous or not (see Anonymous polls).

Result visible to participants
Specify whether the result of the poll should be visible to all participants.

Files
You have the option to add files to the poll.

Email dispatch
This option is enabled by default. If no email with the poll should be sent, you can deactivate this option.

Evaluate poll results
All leaders of the poll have access to the poll results and can view them. If the Result visible for all participants setting is enabled for the poll, all participants will see the results.
Depending on whether it is an anonymous poll or not, the individual answers of the members are also visible.
