It can happen that the invoice address of the association has changed or was entered incorrectly, but the invoice has already been issued. The VAT ID, which some invoice recipients need to settle the invoice, is also sometimes forgotten when ordering a subscription.
Depending on whether the changed invoice data is absolutely necessary for the current invoice or not, there are the following options:
Change invoice data for future invoices
If the changed invoice address or VAT ID is not absolutely necessary for the invoice that has already been issued, the data for future invoices can be changed in the subscription administration in the Payment information section. Change invoice data for an existing invoice
Invoices that have already been issued cannot and must not be changed.
If a changed invoice address or VAT ID is absolutely required for an invoice that has already been issued, the Konzertmeister team can perform a cancellation of the invoice. The association will automatically switch back to the Basic subscription and the admin of the association can order any subscription again and also adjust the invoice address and the VAT ID during the ordering process.
No existing data of the association will be lost due to the invoice cancellation and the temporary switch to the Basic subscription! Only the Pro features cannot be used until a Pro subscription is ordered again.
Process for issuing a new invoice with changed invoice data
The following describes the exact process to receive a new invoice with changed invoice data:
Request a cancellation of the already issued invoice via the contact form. Please make sure to provide the reason for the cancellation, the association and the invoice number.
The Konzertmeister team cancels the relevant invoice. The admin of the association will automatically receive an email with the cancellation invoice. The association switches back to the Basic subscription due to the cancellation.
The admin of the association can now order any subscription again and also adjust the invoice address and VAT ID during the ordering process (see Order subscription). The data provided during the order will also be used for future invoices.
After the subscription order has been completed, the admin of the association will receive the invoice (with the changed invoice data) by email.
Requirement for an invoice cancellation
Only invoices that are not older than 30 days can be cancelled. The invoice date is relevant for this.
